Light House Studio presents a selection of family friendly award winning short films including animations, documentaries and music videos. Light House Studio is a nonprofit film making center dedicated to teaching students self-expression through film making, Light House Studios students' work has been recognized on national channels such as CNN and through honors including a Peabody Award, a Gold World Medal at the New York International Film and TV Festival, and a CINE Golden Eagle Award.They will have short films at 6:15 & 7:30PM at the Light House Studio.

First Night Virginia is an annual community celebration of the arts that began in Charlottesville in 1982 and is the second oldest First Night in the country. 2014 is the 32nd annual festival of the arts with many family-friendly activities on and around the historic Downtown Mall.
